Jennifer Rochester - My man proposed to me during a church service! In front of the whole congregation he told the story of how we met and that he knew I was the one God had for him! I also like you on FB and shared your post! 🙂
Jennifer Rochester - I also followed you on twitter!
Brittani Landers - My fiance proposed to me on my 23rd birthday 🙂 We started the night off with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and a little shopping. When we got in the car to leave the summit, he made me turn around while he put an address in the GPS. I asked him where we were going and he wouldn’t tell me. Eventually, we arrived at Vulcan. We bought our tickets, and walked up to the very top (it was freezing…but GORGEOUS overlooking the city.) he proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Cynthia Maria Perry - My fiance tried to propose using my stocking on Christmas morning… But I messed him up by saying I wanted to put things in them for us and he freaked out n somehow slipped the ring outta the stocking before giving it to me…. And from what I’ve found out since is he got scared and didn’t have a back up plan and just decided to go ahead and do it…so while I’m filling the stockings he drops down on one knee and asks me to be with him forever. 🙂
Bri Ward - My Fiance proposed to me at February 7, 2013. He is a big hunter and enjoys teaching me all about it. He had brought me out to this open field that was surrounded by trees. There was an old farm out out in the field with tall grass. He had told me he had to “site” in his rifle before putting it up for the season. So I agreed to go out to the property with him. Once we got out to the field he brought me out to where the targets were set up. He wanted me to shoot the rifle, but I was to cold and wanted to him to hurry up. He finally convinced me and I got me to look through the scope. Which is when I saw the writing on the target that said, “Will you Marry Me”? I turned to him and said does that say what I think it says? He then proceeded to get down on one Knee and brought out the ring. I was completely shocked and surprised that all I remember is saying yes and hugging him. He had his motion detector camera that captured all the pictures of the process of him getting down on his knee and me saying yes. He then proceeded to bring me down this path that led to a picnic with Champaign, a dozen roses, and my favorite dessert. The bullet shells that I shot yes with have the date written on them so I have a keepsake of the day. He also had already planned my candle light for the evening. This is an event that you surprise all your sorority sisters that you are engaged by blowing out a candle that is passed around in a circle. It was a wonderful day that I will never forget.
Meghan Patterson - My fiance proposed on July 15, 2012. We had been dating almost 3 years at the time. I had been gone on a weekend business trip and was scheduled back Sunday afternoon. My mother picked me up at the interstate exit close to our house that Sunday afternoon. When I arrived home, my Aunt and Uncle were at the house…nothing unusual. Everyone was being extremely nice and helping me get all of my luggage. When I walked into my house, my mom and dad hand me an envelope and my uncle appeared with a video camera. Inside the envelope was a letter from my fiancé explaining that I was going on a scavenger hunt of 10 clues. (I introduced him to the game of Clue:) Each clue led to a specific memory we had made at my parents house (inside and outside). The clue game was the first place I was led. The rest of the clues included things/places like: the BBQ grill, books, places outside, etc. The 9th clue led me to my room where a letter was placed for me. It was the most romantic, sweet, and heart skipping letter from my fiance. It asked me to come out to the swing in my parents backyard under this huge oak tree (this is where we sat a lot after we came home from dates and had our life chats:). When I turned the corner and saw the swing, there was my handsome man waiting on me. When I reached the tree, he told me that he was ready to spend his life with me and was ready for me to steal his last name. As soon as he got down on one knee and popped the questions, I immediately jumped into his arms. He had to ask a couple of minutes later if I wanted the ring haha. I was too excited!
Brooke Roberson - My fiancé, Michael, proposed to me at my favorite place, the beach :). The day of the proposal was perfect. It was December 31, 2011 and we were enjoying a relaxing weekend at his parents vacation home near Gulf Shores. After having dinner with his parents, Michael asked me if I wanted to get ice cream, just the 2 of us, and “do something fun.” Of course I accepted the ice cream offer (I mean seriously, who ever says no to ice cream?). But I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about doing “something fun.” —-(On a side note, Michael is spontaneous and kind of a busy body, so sometimes our idea of fun differs. For example, Michael gets enjoyment from fishing anywhere at anytime of day and I get the same amount of enjoyment from watching trash tv and youtube makeup tutorials) — Yet I put my worries aside, agreed to do something fun, and allowed my sugar rush to kick in for the next stop of the night. Michael, after getting lost for 30 minutes, while pretending like he knew exactly were we were…. men…., pulled up to a parking lot with a beach entrance. I was stoked! As we walked along the beach we talked about our future, dreams, goals, and most importantly how lucky we were to have each other. Eventually we sat down in the sand and continued our discussion. It was getting dark so Michael suggested we leave and go back to his parent’s house. I stood up and Michael remained in the sand. A flood of emotion came over me; needless to say he did a great job of surprising me. I can’t remember everything he said to me at that moment, because honestly I blacked out a little (haha!), but one phrase from that night will always remain in my mind; “Brooke I will love you forever.” I didn’t have a secret photographer or hidden audience watching us, it was our moment, and one that I will that I will cherish forever.
I hope you choose us! We are young, fun, and recklessly in love! 🙂
